ANCIENT ENERGY {A POEM?}

I am compiling a book of original musings, inspirations, and stories, this is the first time i have given any part of it out to general public {i.e. not friends} let me know what you think. more will come. keep in mind anything posted is in first draft form. as well as i dont follow any traditional poetry form...so i know some of it doesnt fit into standard pentameters and such. thank you


I have walked the shades and shadows of the sun dappled grove.

I have sung amongst the winds in the stars.

I have danced in the fires of creation.

I have floated in the rivers of Life.

I have reveled in the light

I have hunted in the cover of darkness.

I have tamed the wild beast,

Only to set it free, and teach it to be wild once more.

I am the eyes in the darkness lit in fires of fae

I am the shadows of day hidden by the shade.

I am the deeper mystery you have forgot.

Waiting to be discovered in your life.

i am the magic old come anew.

alive and unnoticed in this world

i wait,

I dance among the stars,

whisper in the wind

warm by the fires

bathe in the waters,

and sing within the mountains.

some can hear me,

your numbers grow by the day.

To you who hear my voice and feel my love

I say thank you.
