Snow, slowly

Postby Daryvas » 02 Feb 2011, 20:22

I dreamt a snow dream.
I loved, I laughed, I cried, I felt;
Still, silent, sleeping.
A voice, singing, called to me;
I heard but did not heed.
I had grown to love the dream
And the dream loved me;
Though, I did not choose it,
Anymore than Nature chooses
To slumber under white blankets
Waiting for the Sun.

The voice called to me again and
Gasping, grasping at my dream,
As it ran through my fingers like water,
I struggled to move, to be free.
Confined, I pushed through the snow,
Slowly turning my face toward the light,
The clear blue and the floating white.
I heard my True name whispered in the wind
As the vast sea of tiny green chimes
Echoed the strains that roused me
From my deepened darkened dream.
We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. - Teilhard de Chardin
