night-train to joy

I am on a night-train to joy
wheels thundering
whistles blowing
I am on a night-train to joy

I am on a night-train to joy
trees running by
cow-filled meadows
I am on a night-train to joy

I am on a night-train to joy
the dark reads my fear
the ticket-man hurries
I am on a night-train to joy

would I be better off
if I could forget
just for one moment
that
I am on a night-train to joy

Very Powerful poem Hennie, it makes you ask questions of what you are doing and stop and think a little of responsibilities, expectations. your own honesty. I really like your poems.

I actually got butterflies in my stomache reading this...lol Very descriptive and loved the way it flowed.
