Touch My Soul

This piece of writing symbolizes the beginning of a new part in my life. The beginning of a new journey to new shores. "I looked into the sun and I am blind, but drunk with happiness" - this sentence describes myself, my art and my writing since April, the 18th - this day I met the most wonderful person I ever knew, my dearest friend and my greatest love, and if I've ever had a brother, it would be him. Somehow he made me awake and open my eyes - and I've not even realized they were closed before I knew him! This, as the most of my poems after, is for him.

Touch my soul
Watch me soar
I found a new way
I found a new life
My eyes were closed
I’ve been a broken shape
In a dark corner of the room
I have risen
I can see again
I am a dancer
Watch me dance

I sing my own rhythm
The blood pounding in my veins
Is my drum
I am a dancer
I flow through time
My fingers trace the stars
I can reach the sun
I am Spirit
With all the world
I am One

My body swirls, a petal in a rainstorm
Watch me soar
The wind carrying me is my breath
I am a dragon
My wings are the sky
My mane is made of buckthorn leaves
My scales are the stone of the mountain Sayan
In my eyes lies the depth of Baikal
I am a shaman
I am Spirit
I am One

I shed my pain like a snake sheds its skin
And I am a snake
I can move freely, I have shed my chains
The woods call me as if I was a wolf
And I am a wolf
I run with my pack
My claws dig into the moss
I am a shaman
Touch my soul and you will see
I am a dancer
I am Spirit
I am One
Dance with me
