Rebirth

Postby Fox of the Oaks » 31 Aug 2011, 01:35

There she sat, darkness enfolding,
Ancient keeper of flame, silently holding
Something so powerful, yet meant for this land,
This world, the roundness sound in her hand.
Goddesses luminance in visions foretold,
In sagas and story and poetry old,
In new born eyes and Eagle's sight,
This undying light, shall illumine the night.

The ebbing of hope is not to be lost,
Fear's not within reach in the true hearted soft,
Fashioned by rhythm of longing light moon,
No loss. Full hope, shall full justice bloom.
Augury in mirrors and mazes of mind,
Simple in silence, powers unwind,
Of the old silent mother, she knows all the paths,
Raven's cry unleashes power on all paths,
Swans silhouette the corruption to fail,
Beauty is power, only truth can prevail.

Heartened and maverick the warriors true,
Of fine face and wise leanings, and angelic hue.
No need to discover your wisdom beyond,
Right here, ever-breathing, green lit and fond.
Speak sparks on dry places, if fuel leads to love,
Fly clear and with dignity, oh radiant Dove.
Peace upon meadow, on forest, on hearth,
Peace in the mountains, and peace in the dark.

moving and powerful imagery, well woven together :)
From decay comes growth, fungal or otherwise. All stages of death are filled with life and life to be. Creation is made up of ugly beauty that is gorgeous to those who can feel as well as they can see.
