After the Ritual

After the Ritual

After the Ritual
Everyone has gone
The Circle is opened
The Quarters dismissed

I am alone but have Company
For their presence remains
Those that we asked for protection and guidance
Our Guides our Gods

Our love, our faith
We give so freely
They return so much
If requested wisely

The ritual is finished
The people have gone
I am not alone
For friendship and love for me is one

Autumn

Postby Herne247 » 27 Sep 2011, 12:12

Autumn

Ice on the windows
breath hanging in the air
Samhain Parties
and Autumn fairs

Cold dark nights
leaves golden and brown
sparkling nighttime lights
and fog all around

Wellies by the door
fireworks light the sky
trick or treaters asking for more
with their mums close by

Autumn is here
and nature sleeps
the circle turns another year
with memories for us to keep
