Knowing

Postby Hairy Woman » 06 Oct 2011, 13:37

As I know the walking dream
As I knew The Wild One's Call
As I will know at the lifting of the veil.

___

The above was my first attempt at a Triad: not convinced I've got the right idea. Hints? Tips? Thoughts?

Rotten tomatoes?

I'm considering trying the Eisteddfod, but with my yet-un-posted prose, not poetry.

I like the simplicity and depth of these three lines. Well done.

Thanks for your comments, Kima.

My failure in writing is brevity: I know a lot of impressive long words, but that doesn't meant that they, or the sentences they create, produce the desired effect.

Personally I like to write in a very simple way and throw in an unusual word every now and then. This being said, there are writers I admire who use more complex language in poetry.
