First attempt at a Prayer

Postby sarum » 16 Nov 2011, 06:25

Pray to Lugh:
Great sun God Lugh I call you this day,
Shine down from the heavens and light up my way Down this path I have chosen,
Both sacred and right,
Fill this land with your radiance, power and light.
Great thanks for your gift
Which makes all things grow,
You warm up our winter and melt down the snow,
Which feeds all the rivers, the lakes and the sea Your greatness we worship god.
So mote it be.

Hi Sarum

It is a fine prayer. I know that you have called this a first attempt at prayer, but to be honest in my opinion, prayer comes directly from the heart and if allowed to flow, is always perfect.

Love & Blessings Phil
