A Dawning

Postby Seawolfman » 03 Sep 2012, 14:28

This came to me while gazing accross a meadow in the direction of Tara.
I considered editing it , but as i tend to write in a stream of conciousness, i figured , for me, to tamper with it would somehow dilute what was coming through. So good or bad, i left it in its original state..

A Dawning
Accross the green to taras line
a blue horizon landed,
It bled its pure and simple hew
Through all that grew beneath.
I hold my gaze for fear of loss
Till tears begin their weeping,
The magic fades as vision blurs
To present woes ,less fleeting.

Return the gaze to a moment passed
To look to find the feeling,
Tormented now regret deep rising,
Distraction caused my grief.
The questions blind the hidden truth
Of where it first began,
A heavy sigh ,defeated now,
A look ,a glimpse was all it needed.

A rush of truth behind the quiet
Erupts from foot to crown..
A blast ,a gasp to catch my breath.....
Relief of bliss and once more , fleeting!
Ah yes  i cry through bellowed halls
Of course its inward looking!
Not on the hill of taras line
But first and last within me.
