A Lasting Question - Comments Welcome

How
many
pockets
will your
burial
shroud
have?

Quality poem my friend. Economy with words is a talent. Making them count even more so.
More of these, please.

So.
One. For the sword of my fathers.
Two. For the coins to give the ferryman.
Three. For my touchstone.
No more, no less.

No shroud

No service

No mourners

No burial

No stone

Dispose of properly.

I agree with Oaklight...

What matters more concerning pockets
The amount
Or the content
I travel lightly
Since life's greatest treasures
can not be held nor carried
They rest in the pockets of my soul
nothing lasts
nothing ends
nothing is perfect
