My heart flutters with joy and magical thought, as i look into the portal of inner thought. I feel loves light encompassing thee, sparked by my portal, husband and me. Through the door inside i go, into the earths roots, to caverns deep where waters sleep and seems to have no floor. Making my way to the lantern bright, it flickers away in the night, casting the light and the shadows on the walls. I hear a hoot, what's that , that calls, looking to the inner walls. as the stalagmites do weep in this cavern of the deep. Onward i go ever nearing the lanterns flow. I now feel the dampness in the air, as it cools the lanterns flare. I see a pool of silvery light, twinkling away like a starry night. The water runs so clean it reflects the inner scene I hear the cavern boom, the echo of the inside womb, the drips of water, that silvery delight, then a ripple sparks the lantern bright. Creatures whirl and twirl in my inner mind, for i have yet to be assigned. I feel a presence that is here to stay, but for a second i keep it at bay. Behind me a great horned owl doth appear, waiting patiently, for me, i fear. Her eyes seeing right through me as i turn my head to view thee. She blinks and winks gazing at me, how very quizzical and funny, she then plucks away at her wing, oh my, you itchy little thing. I reach to touch, it pleasures so much, the smooth silky feathers, slippy and sleek. Your eyes so infinitely intent full of thought and wonderment. I have harkened to your call, you are the beauty that that lies in us all. The blinking in your eyelid doth tell, stories of this place that i know well. So now you have come to befriend me, gazing so intently. I feel akin, so i fear not, for contemplation is now my plot. In this inner place i will visit thee, or perhaps near by a tree, you might like to converse with me. You can share the stories of your realm, when ever it be time to tell. With all the elements circling me, the magic weaved has nourished thee. So for now we will let it be, and i will visit you more timely. The echoes flicker my inner light, harkening to me the inner sight. By the rock pools in the caverns deep, the lanterns of old burn deep. There it will remain forever lit kindled my my inner wit. Joyful now as my day has been, i reflect upon my altar scene the caverns deep and pools of light, with new eyes twinkling in the night. A new found friend, revealed to me, with stories of wonder for us to see.
