Poems for Twitter

Postby Mountainheart » 23 Jan 2013, 11:06

Hi all - thought I might try and write some poems for Twitter: bit like the Haiku but they have to be 140 characters or less.

Anyone else fancy a go?

Thx
David

Here's my first attempt:

I scoured the books of truth; ancient thoughts.
Dusty. Stale.
Now I hear the trees, sky, sun.
Books submerged unopened.
Dust to dust.

Snow falls on a winter's day
Laughing children lost in play
Snuggle in a blanket, warm
Breathe in the icy calm

Cherries blossom
Buds engorge
Plunge the blade
Into the forge
yr pal, Fox

The Nunc Stans.
Boundaryless unlimited existence,
Without beginning or end.
Past, present and future all exist in the eternal now.
