Inspired by the Crescent Moon

Postby Ouroboros » 15 Mar 2013, 03:32

While gazing upon the crescent moon and reflecting on the passing of a dear friend today this came to me. Please constructive criticism is welcome as I hope to develop my ability to write.

Crescent Moon gazing down
Upon our lives so fleeting.
You who in days of yore
Heard offered lambs a bleating.

Do you still hear OUR cries?
Do they reach your celestial shore?
When we raise our voice on high
...Remember us once more!

Invoking visions of a earth with a dark sky and moon above, desolate, yet not alone, never alone...
Well spoken.
nothing lasts
nothing ends
nothing is perfect

Thank you Aphritha and Shadowcat. :roses:

On a side note has anyone noticed that the moon doesn't match the proper phases anymore? Something has happened and science isn't talking about it. The moon looked like cattle horns rather than a traditional crescent.

That would be interesting...I hear that our earth is due for one, too.
