Rosettastone- Language courses

Postby Stohornugle » 12 Jun 2006, 15:14

Has anyone tried The Rosetta Stone Language course for learningWelsh?

If so what did they think? It is pretty expensive and I don't want to splash out if people didn't find the course worth the money. I'm specifically thinking about the online course.

I have the CD version of the course and do find it worth the money. The visual associations are quite good and the thing is flat out fun. On the other hand, grammar is a little hard to follow at times and I don’t find that mutations are very well explained.

What you might want to do is invest in the Explorer version which isn’t all that expensive and see if the course fits your needs.
