Wow! Eoin Dubh, I wondered if it would be possible to post those videos to Youtube for the benefit of our overseas friends (and those of us who wish to revisit episodes after they expire), but I didn't know how to do it. I never thought of just searching for it! Thanks!

Thank you for the link Aurora. I have started with the lessons at the site as well as the "Teach Yourself" system with a book and CDs. Once I get a little farther along in the lessons I'll be searching for someone to practice speaking with

Some great resources here I knew nothing about. I tried a Gaelic class a few years ago, but as with so many things it came down to the teacher, whom I didn't really connect with, so I didn't get very far.

The Speaking Our Language course is once available for purchase. Sìol Cultural Enterprises in Nova Scotia, Canada has them in Region Free DVD format. They will play on any DVD system. There are a total of 4 Series with 4 DVDs each and a total of 18 lessons per series. I purchased the whole series and the video quality is excelent and the cost was less than we paid for the tapes back in the 1990s. The contact info for Sìol Cultural Enterprises is below.
