Brehon Law tracts - list of, MSS

Postby Beith » 07 Nov 2006, 16:06

Hi there!

Found a great link on the web  - catalogue of the Brehon Law tracts and various pieces in various manuscripts. It does not link to the MSS themselves, but tells you what is found where, which is very useful!

http://www.univie.ac.at/keltologie/cih/ ... _jaski.htm

For interest:
and on that note...just came across another interesting piece about poets and Brehon law on a celtic studies list

good wishes!

HI Seeker,

If you're looking for translations of some of these texts or indeed summation of information gained for them, then head for Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies website http://www.dias.ie - their celtic studies publications - these are the translations and books published by world experts in the field. Likewise contract law by Neil McLeod etc.

Enjoy!
