an bhfuil duine ar bith ann anseo a bheadh ag an bhféile brighid tara 2007 an imbolc seo (3/2/07 2.00pm)?

is dóigh liom gurb iontach é go mbeadh rud mar sin in ann tarlú aríst ar éirinn.

“Invocation to the Spirit of Brighid”
An open invitation to participate in a joyful, lively and family occasion to celebrate the Festival of Imbolc on the hill of Tara on Saturday 3rd February at 2.00pm. The event is in the form of a dance to symbolicly represent the four directions of Ireland coming together around a oneheart centre. Musical accompaniment is to the drone of pipes or dij and a drumbeat. The ceremony is being facilitated by Roy Littlesun with the intention of reviving the ‘All is One’ memory.

The circular patterns created in the dance is an endeavour to harmonise body, soul and mind with the cyclical and rhythmical motion of the year, the seasons and nature. The focus behind these endeavours is the attainment of health and prosperity, peace and harmony for those participating and for the people and the island of Ireland.

The event coincides with the full moon on the previous day and the solar date of the ancient festival on the following day. The invocation to the ancestral spirit of Ireland is to bring a mutually agreeable solution to the obtrusion posed by the construction of the M3 motorway into the peace, tranquillity and archaeological heritage of a unique landscape, of ancient places and sacred spaces.

The event is endorsed by the voluntary groups, organisations and concerned citizens engaged in the Campaign to save Tara. A contribution to the campaign is welcomed.Wear warm clothes, good footwear and share the car journey with others.

Foot note. Roy Littlesun walks the path of peace. His global journey began at the age of fourteen. He was adopted by Hopi Elder, Titus Qomayumptewa as his son. The Hopi are one of the greatest of an ancient tribal people who were given the role to maintain the Earth’s balance. Roy teaches that role must now pass to all of humanity. He continues to travel the world doing workshops, teachings and ceremonies helping to expand the common ground among peoples through the creation and activation of the “Circle of Hearts” medicine wheels and where possible on the ancient places which still exist on many continents.

Please post to all on your personal email list to help promote the event or tell friends, family, folks and all living things in all dimensions to be there on the occasion. Yery many thanks. Kevin

Oh, how I wish I could be there! :D  I will keep this event in my heart that day, that at least in part my spirit might participate from the other side of the Atlantic.

May Peace Prevail On Earth!
