Adding a link for anyone interested in the Old Irish text of the Cattle raid of Cooley from the Book of the Dun Cow (book date pre 1106AD, contains copies of older material).

Abhaill./Megli/Anyone...would you be interested in taking a section from here and translating? I was thinking we could work together on a selected piece to translate to english so people can get an idea of the type of language, descriptions and atmosphere within?
