Her piano trio was played. It was quite romantic, but not classically romantic with rhythms and harmonies which reminded me of the 20's or 40's. Most enjoyable, if not great. It did have an American sound and some jazz roots, I think.
I would be interested in hearing her Gaelic Symphony (Symphony in E minor, Op. 32 "Gaelic") and Variations on Balkan Themes, Op. 60 for the melodies. Many of her works are songs and sacred music,

She was the first successful American female composer of large-scale art music. Most of her compositions and performances were under the name Mrs. H.H.A. Beach.
