Tree of immortality (Poetry)

Tree of immortality (Poetry)

Tree of immortality

A gateway
that's what you are
A gateway
to the Otherworld

Sacred tree
tree of death
Sacred tree
tree of rebirth

You're inviting
to come and sit down
You're inspiring
to think about life

Come dear ancestors
enter through this gate
Come dear friends
enter this sacred grove

Celebrate with us
this sacred moment
Celebrate
the circle of life

The perfect place
this wonderful tree
The perfect grove
where time does not exist

Dear Yew
gateway to the ancestors
Dear Yew
gateway to past and present life

What a beautiful tribute to the spirit of the season.
Is this not a magical working? A chant, perhaps?

I was thinking the same thing!

A wonderful tribute to my favourite time of year Dobhran, and all that it stands for. A magical piece of work.

Peace,

Craig.
