Excellent, Caritas! Well done! I'm very impressed. Yes, the last element is Judgement. If I hadn't been the one to make it I don't think I could have seen the last one. You really know your Major Arcana!
Technique? I wish I could say it was true batik (or stained glass, Kaya-Nita) but it's pure digital. Images adjusted, overlayed, adjusted some more and then adjusted again and then a little more adjustment. Filters, overlays and several of the cool Photoshop tools.
Is this about the student's path - begun as a tabula rasa, then lots of hard work followed by an initiation into the mysteries and then finally a judgment on one's attempts? Even if these are all internal, rather than external?
If that's what you see, then that's what it's about.

(I truly believe this!)
The idea sprang up as a cross between some frescos I studied back in school and the palaeographic difficultly known as the palimpsest. Studying a palimpsest means disecting the layers of text and isolating the meaning of each layer. Where this art is different, I guess, is that the meanings of each layer can be taken together rather than isolated.
Thanks for the great comments everyone.
