Simple Blessings (Art)

The gift of life for one more day.

The dessart mouse escapes the belly of the snake and reaches for the blessing of the dew drops as the roadrunner lets him drink as he keeps watch. Life assiting life.

Kaya-Nita,

There's a lot of unexplained stuff going on here that I really like. Like for example, I love how the caterpillars crawling on the cactus-cross are sharing their cheese-juice with their friend the mouse! Very cool! The bird looks a little sad, maybe because he thinks they won't give him any. But what he doesn't know is that they fully intend to share it with him too, but before they do they have to go back up to their ant-hill home and get some more. They are running out because the snake accidentally drank too much of it (which is what is causing him to shed his skin). All will be well in the end though. There will be enough cheese-juice to go around and when the sun sets at the end of the day everyone will have a full stomache and a new friend to say goodnight to.

Well, that's my interpretation of it anyway. :D I really love the imagery. Thanks so much for sharing this.

That's cool Kaya-Nita. Much more reasonable, of course, than my interpretation. Still leaves some wonderful questions to be asked, though. Like for example, how did the mouse escape? Did the roadrunner help him? What happens to the snake who goes hungry?

Don't tell me though! Even if there are answers. I like being able to imagine all the different answers myself (without being directly influenced too much by extra input from the artist :D ).
