Edge
I wanted to taste life at the edge.
With boundaries. But loose,
all at the same time.
There is the challenge.
The crossed lines.
Some jar. Some don’t resonate.
Don’t dismiss. Don’t filter
the rawness of experience.
Bathe in a sensory waterfall
and drink in what you will.
What is needed? What is
essential to tasting?
The rawness. The sensuality
of it. Don’t think too hard.
Just be, with the boundaries
within the looseness.
Boundaries bring safety
to experience. I need this.
But I want to taste life at the edge.
