The Piercing (Poetry)

The Piercing (Poetry)

Postby FallingLeaves » 02 Oct 2004, 21:40

When I looked
the other way

When I wandered
far from myself

When the world
lost its colour

And life
its taste

When I left behind
all knowing

And all knowing
left me

Then you came

Piercing my heart

With the sharp
blade of Truth

Naked now

My heart travels
those Pathless Lands

Hey, springarrives, that's an awesome poem! It's kind of mysterious and makes me think. :applause:

very nice, blessings, Caritas
It is precisely because our present life is so inseparably linked with desire that we must make use of desire’s tremendous energy if we wish to transform our life into something transcendental.  -Lama Thubten Yeshe

Bravo! Quite powerful. I like the way the physical format of the poem resembles a blade.

Sharp and accurate.

Love it

Hawky
She's the goddess of love
The goddess in green
The goddess of all
That I've ever seen
The goddess of hope
The goddess in brown
The goddess of all
That you've burned to the ground
