Druid (Poetry)

Druid (Poetry)

Postby FallingLeaves » 07 Oct 2004, 19:23

Druid is just a word
the word is not the thing

Youll find me in the air
and under everything

In tree and crow and stone
in blood and marrow and bone

In the fluttering of the leaves
and dances in the breeze

In the warmth of summer sun
and the chill of winter's freeze

When all is said
and all is done

there you'll find me
on the run

No cage or box
or word for me

Just the dancing Mystery.......

Very nice, SpringArrives! (I guess in December I'll be calling you SummerBlooms. I love the way your name changes with the seasons.)
I like the way you write, please keep writing!

DearHeart - I love it. You have captured the light and laughter of our path, and indeed, dancing in the mystery. I love it when you sing your Heart Songs :) :butterflies: :spiral:

Spring Arrives, you are a true druid with a merry heart! Thanks for a ray of sunshine!
Pay attention to the path, and learn the hard way.  The easy way is fun and entertaining, but you take away very little.

I loved the rhythm of this poem, and the message too. I wish to be like the Druid described in this poem. Very special!
