A Darklands Meandering (poetry)

A Darklands Meandering (poetry)

Postby FallingLeaves » 11 Oct 2004, 09:04

I fall to the
deepest, darkest
places of
my soul

There meeting
the Soul of
the World

In this place
freed now
from fear
and responsibility

Where I know not
or even care
what my name
may be

I hear the true
clear whisperings
of my heart

And meet a vision
far wider
and greater
than my knowing
can hold

And as I breathe
out
the
Surrendering Sigh

I return home to
my own true face

gazing upon
the unfolding
Blessed
Now

This is wonderful, SpringArrives. I like the first 2 stanzas especially. Reminiscent of classics like "The fog rolled in on little cat's feet..."
Beautiful!
If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.--Mark Twain

I am now getting stuck on how to praise so many good works in this Eisteddford.

Awesome tranquility

Hawky
She's the goddess of love
The goddess in green
The goddess of all
That I've ever seen
The goddess of hope
The goddess in brown
The goddess of all
That you've burned to the ground
