Oh brothers she said how i must not
oh brother she said i really should not.

wild in the forrest she tended the weeds
wild in the forrest caught down on her knees

a shadow loomed over blocking the light
a shadow loomed over obscureing her sight

oh come now my sister ride into the night
oh come now my sister ride into the night

she got up beside him and away they did go
she got up beside him and away they did go

into the the woods he carried her off
into the woods he carried her off

a vioce mistrusted she bagn to weep
oh polly that voice was around her in sleep

the trail of ash had decived her to lay in an early grave
that bird gave a warning to her death she is strayed.
