This is for a friend that took his own life about a year ago.

Stephan Michael LaFever



Stephan Michael LaFever, age 18, of Gowen, passed away suddenly Monday evening, July 10, 2006 at home. Stephan was born on March 26, 1988 in Orlando, Florida and had completed his junior year at Greenville High School. An avid sports fan, Stephan loved football, wrestling, and fitness training. He also enjoyed nature and spending time outdoors... especially fishing. He had attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Greenville.

Surviving are his parents, Dave & Becky McCarty of Gowen; six sisters and brothers, Jessica LaFever of Gowen, David LaFever of Florida, Angela & Chad Durdle of Gowen, David & Erin McCarty of Greenville, Niki & Jim Davis of Gowen, and Liane McCarty of Gowen; grandparents, Gail & Dave LaFever of Westland; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
