Sinoslamia,

Your mother was indeed a beloved member of our Order and this message board. There are two threads in which her many friends and acquaintances are expressing their thoughts about her: http://druidry.org/board/dhp/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=25326 and http://druidry.org/board/dhp/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=25327. We, too, want to make some lasting tribute to her; we haven't yet figured out what form it will take but please be assured we will do something in her honor.

My condolences on your loss...we miss her, too.

Blessings,
Selene

She was indeed a beloved member and I believe we are attempting to put together some of her poetry and other wonderful creative works to have a fitting memorial. Rest assured, her memory lives on at this site as well as in our hearts.

Blessings to you and your family at this sad time.

Blessings to you and my deepest sympathy on your loss. It is also ours, and we miss her very much. She was such a special person!

Some of us, in addition to the planned memorial, will also be doing private rituals for your mother, celebrating her as a friend, wishing her peace and happiness now, and expressing our personal sense of loss.

Blessings,
Donata

Yes, having gone by many names here over the years, your Mother was a beloved member of this message board, and OBOD. She was a dear friend of mine, and will be deeply missed.

My sincere sympathies to you, Sinoslamia, and your family.

Perhaps an idea for something memorial...

Seeing as how enthousiastic she was about the Esteiddfods.. perhaps we can add an additional entry-forum in the next Fodd, in which people can enter their contributions in remembering her and all those that passed this year?

Unlike the other forae, the object would not be to win a harp, but to join in dealing with issues of the past year as Drui, together.

Just a thought....

Sinoslamia, I didn't see the other threads so was unaware that Piastra had passed away. I'm very sorry to hear of it, and of your loss.

Sinoslamia, rest assured that your sweet mother is passing into the Summerlands on a veritable gale of love, blessings, and respect. She was a dear lady and a wonderful friend, and we will miss our beloved Chalci more than words can say. Peace to you, and blessings as well, in this time of sorrow... may the knowledge that so many of us hold her in our hearts in love lighten your grief.
