As some know my mom passed on November 11 2007.
She was of the old ways and also with Jesus as a Quaker.
She is shown here with my dad who was of Welsh decent, an Owings (Surname of Owens)
Her kind eyes and ways were always an inspiration to me. She was an artist, working for WETA as a storyboard artist for tele-tales (a children's book illustrator) , Jack & Jill as a cover artist, Able cards, The Plastic Club along with her mom as a renowned portrait artist and art teacher, A live pastel artist with the national symphony orchestra, and many other artistic ventures over the span of her 80 years.
As you will see in the picture below, she loved to make her own cloths, and the shirt she is wearing speaks of her and her connection with nature. She had a way of finding four leaf clovers wherever she went, often collecting them in bunches.
When she passed, she had been always a eager and kind person which came through in her last days. She asked me if I was prepared, in her gentle way, and then passed one early morning this past fall, just as the leaves fell from the trees.
She often wore the star you can see in the picture below. Also she loved to wear a silver salmon. I only fully understood her and her ways when I came to know druidism and when I told her I had become one with druidry, she said "Well of course".
Her mother taught me the ways of the trees, and tree spirits, often showing me things I came to understand later in life.
She was dedicated in her marraige to Jim, my father (who passed in January) for over 50 years.

Dyro, Dduw, dy nawdd;
ac yn nawdd, nerth;
ac yn nerth, ddeall;
ac yn neall, gwybod;
ac o wybod, gwybod yn gyfiawn;
ac o wybod yn gyfiawn ei garu;
ac o garu, caru Duw.
Duw a phob daioni.
