He valiantly fought a battle with cancer, much longer than was expected; all the while continuing to have a positive attitude and cheery disposition.
My sister Suzanne, started a blog about his condition, and here is a small quote:
Suzanne will continue the support for natural and conventional universal health care. For anyone interested, the blog can be found here:...When Johnny was first diagnosed with cancer in 2003, the doctors did not have a very promising prognosis for him, however thanks to naturopathic medicine and surgery, and much love and support, he enjoyed many more years. Because Johnny could not get insurance this time due to a pre-existing condition, he did not receive the preventative care he needed...CT scans.
...Johnny did not have health insurance, he did not receive the surgery that could have saved his life back when the tumor was still operable in January of 2008. We hope Johnny's sacrifice will help bring attention to the inadequacies of our current health care system and perhaps one day in the future naturopathic and allopathic medicine will one day be available to all who need it...
