Mario Benedetti (1920-2009)

Postby Aelfarh » 18 May 2009, 11:24

For the great poet Mario Benedetti. One (if not the One) of my favourite poets, who passed away yesterday night.

:candle:

it's very likely you have no idea of who was he, since his poetry is in spanish, but here I put a little tribute

Thank you, Aelfarh.

I never heard of Mario Benedetti. After having read his poetry, it is a shame.

I have a very wide understanding of my ancestors. My ancestors are my ancestors of the blood, of my spiritual tradition(s) and also all people, artists, authors, musicians etc. who ever have inspired me.
I you want, you can think of Mario Benedetti as you ancestor now.

May his journey be as easy for him as his life was a blessing for others.

Eilthireach /|\.

I wish to learn the things that are
and understand their nature
and to know God.

Thank you Eilthireach, He has inspired me several times, and his legacy is very important for my language, so yes, I think I can think of him as an ancestor.
