A memorial for Basil

The last member of my little family passed over to the summerlands on 27 October to be met by his brother Eddie ( as remembered in a post here) and his friends Diamond and Nutty. Rest in peace my little one, you laboured hard and long, but in the end it was all too overwhelming. I love you and will remember you in my heart and for always.

Thank you for your kind thoughts, he will be sadly missed, and for me all hugs gratefully received.
I have put my recent photos into the computer and came to Basil's burial pictures, I wanted to share this here as it is for him, and for me to remember him... may he rest in peace

he looks at perfect peace doesn't he? That's a beautiful picture. What an adorable cat. I'm sorry for your loss, losing a beloved pet is awful, but you can be happy each time you look at this picture and see his body and mind at easeful rest and his spirit hopefully chasing around somewhere with his brother Eddie and Diamond and Nutty.
