Doctor Atkins and Scarbo

I'd like to make a post in memory of two of my darling guinea pigs.

Dr was a beautiful Golden Agouti who left me for the Bridge on 28th February 2006, after a long illness of malocclusion of teeth. I was syringe feeding him many times a day for the last two months of his life.

Scarby was a black and white Abbysinian. In May 2005 he was diagnosed with liver cancer. My vet performed an incredible liver resection, removing a 200g tumour and a lobe of liver. Scarby had another year of love and fun with me until March 2007 when the cancer returned and spread to his bowel, causing massive septicaemia. Scarby joined Dr on 29th March 2007.

They both lie in my parents' garden in Cornwall, covered with flowers and with the smell of the sea in the air.

If I havent welcomed you to our online family, I would like to now.

I also want you to know how much your sharing means, to many.
Im sorry you are hurting....I dont know when it will ease, if ever, but I do know that you will be with them again. Until then, I wish your hurting heart peace....know that you did all you could, and they adore and miss you.
