For my sister's ginger tom, who at 16 succumbed to cancer.
Everything Indy knew, he learned from the dog.
• Begging at the table. He'd eat anything from bread to turkey to broccoli.
• Pushing the other cats in when they tried to drink out of the toilet. The dog only had to push him in once before he figured out that it would be fun to do to the other cats.
• Using his body weight to his advantage. When he saw the dog put the alpha cat in his place by body-slamming him against the wall, he learned how to do that himself.
• Relying on his human for food. He refused to hunt. He would point out the prey to my sister (usually some kind of bug) and whine until she killed it for him.
He's with the dog again. I wonder what she'll teach him now?
