Prayers for a pet

Postby Mam Adar » 27 Feb 2005, 19:51

I hope this is not inappropriate, but I think it will not be considered so. Harry the poodle, who belongs to my parents-in-law (who live right next to us), has been ill with pneumonia since last weekend. He had a short stay in hospital, came home, and now has gone back to the hospital because while his breathing has improved, he hasn't been eating. Please keep him and my in-laws, Roger and Alice, in your thoughts. He is a white standard poodle, less than five years old.

It is never inappropriate to ask for healing and health for our fellow creatures, be they poodle, ferret, fish etc.
Blessings and health to Harry and his Mom and Dad, Roger and Alice. May he grow strong and healthy and return to their loving arms.
:candle:

edit: spelled ferret wrong and didn't want to exlude other animals so added etc.!

Thank you. We are all pretty worried about Harry. Even though he lives with my husband's parents, he's Our Dog, too. (We have birds, and if anything happens to any of them, oh, the wailing you will hear, gods forbid!)

yes...extremely appropriate.

May Harry stay healthy, and his loved ones strong.

Lighting a candle for Harry :candle:
and for the humans that surround him :candle:

It is a very stressful time when a pet is ill.

Thanks, everyone! I don't have all the details, but he is coming home from the hospital again today. I will post again when I know more.

Harry is home from his second hospital stay and is, in the words of my father-in-law, "1000% better". Thank you all for your good energy!
