"ethnic"....well, I consider Celtic music "ethnic"...I also have French, rap, First Nations music, German, African, reggae, some Kodo drumming, etc... so I guess all hat could be considered ethnic....but the answer is sure! The broad general theme is "druidry", but it is pretty easy to shoe-horn stuff in there...If you have an mp3 in mind, just point me to it.

Ha! You asked for it! I just emailed it to you. A song called "Saly Kelio Jovaras Stovejo" (A Poplar Stood by the Roadside) It's a song about the World Tree and how the 3 realms of time (past present and future) are interconnected.

Ambarii - Astral Sunrise 2 from Robert Haig Coxon - simply outstanding!! Thank you for an instant vacation in the middle of my day :D

Do you have anything from Phil Thornton's "Solstice" or Paul Winter's "Celtc Solstice"?

Another wonderful CD I just found is called "Beautiful Darkness - Celebrating the Winter". The artists worked closely with the Matthew's in some of the poetry and I'm pretty sure that Caitlin speaks on it as well.

Moya (Maire) Brennan's newest song "Show Me" rings through my soul as a meeting with a Guide...

Just a couple thoughts that came to me while listening...

Actually, after about 2 years of studying Nature Worshiping Theologies and Philosophies, I have found it refreshing to take it in through the ears, rather than through the eyes as I have been in the past few years.

I just got up and switched on Radio Druid. There is a medley going by a Kelly Howell called "Deep Meditation".

It is nice and soothing, and I can certainly see how it can help with your Meditations.

After that, a Viking Sounding Singer started chanting "Valhalla". That is a very good Meditation Song too.

Ohaiyo Gozaimasu to All:

I just got up and switched on Radio Druid. I switched it on just when the old Monty Python and the Holy Grail sketch where King Arthur encounters a couple of people digging in the mud. After asking for the Yon Castle's Lord only to be informed that they were a Commune. The sketch ends up with King Arthur (played by Graham Chapman) manhandling the Commune Member while the Commune Member (played by Michael Palin) is screaming "I am being Repressed! I am being Repressed!"

It is one of my favorite sketches from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Now I am enjoying Tim Lawson singing his tune: "Such A Beautiful Tree".

This is a little late (I've been swamped lately), but I'd like to give a pat on the back: I love this radio station. It is eclectic, yet well thought out: the programming is truly a joy to hear.

Thanks for all the support folks! The music is on a 24 hour loop right now, so hopefully there is enough variety...I change things when I start to get sick of hearing it myself. I'm sanding off the rough edges and trying to give the programming more "flow".

And remember, if you are druish (or live in a building with an apartment manager who is druish) and you have an MP3...send it and I will play it.

Konnichi Wa to ambarii-San:

I take it from some of your postings on this thread that you are the Music Producer and Arranger for RadioDruid.

I have a small request.

I switched on RadioDruid and was right in the middle of enjoying the tune called "Dancing Ghost Song" when I had an Idea.

I thought that I would like to listen to Ancient Japanese Court Music, which is called "Gagaku", so I plugged "Gagaku" into my Google and found that every website on Gagaku listed information on it, but would not let you download any, or listen to any. You had to either register with their website, or had to buy a CD across the Internet.

I tried many, many websites, but got nowhere.

So I am asking: "Ambarii-San. Do you have any Gagaku Music to Play???"
:grovel:

Also, I have realized a glitch in Jello Biafra-San's "Grow More Pot" Rant. At the beginning of the Rant, Jello-San states that for the First Time in American History, American Army Units was used for the First Time to attack its own People while irradicating a Marijuana Crop.

First Time My Butt! To Biafra-San: "Haven't you ever heard of the American Civil War???!!!"
