It's not the complete song. This is only 43 seconds with several parts of the song. It starts with the harp, then flute is added and it finishes with chants and drums, etc.

I will look for it this w/e and get it on...I also just recieved a CD from Jim Faupel called "Here Be Dragons". I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but with titles like "Guinevere on Monday Morning" I'm sure he will be getting heavy rotation.

Plus I just read that the whole "file sharing" thing is going back before the courts: http://www.canada.com/national/national ... c2&rfp=dta

On Wednesday, the Canadian music industry will appear before the Federal Court of Appeal in Toronto in an attempt to overturn an April, 2004, ruling that essentially legalized file sharing in Canada.

So if it goes badely, I may have to stop promoting all commercial music and rely on my druid brothers and sisters to provide music and other sounds for Radio Druid...which I want to do eventually anyway.

I tell a version of the Birth Of Taliesin which I'll be trying to get digitized within the next few weeks for Ambarii to check out and play on RadioDruid. I have a few stories I would like to do this with, let's see if I can find some time in my busy schedule for this project. I do have my system ready for that sort of work, only question I have to answer myself is if my microphone is good enough for this, it should be, I bought it for the purpose of doing voice recordings.

Kicks in the butt may help keep me moving on this *wink*

Cheers,
~MP, mad for RadioDruid

Konnichi Wa to MadPoet-San:

So how goes the effort? Shiritai Desu.

I just checked my thread on the Oxford Authurian Society, and there has not been any reply yet.

FAO to Ambarii-San:

I was painting in my Laundry Room today and had a regular radio on in order to amuse myself. The Station started playing "Here Comes The Sun" by the Beatles.

Since I have Reverance to the Solar God, I really enjoy that Tune.

Is it possible to start playing "Here Comes The Sun" by the Beatles, or is there certain Copywright Laws that will prevent it.

Here is a Link to the 2005 Beltaine Eisteddfod Competition Music Winning Song, written and sung by Potia-San:

http://druidry.org/movies/Hymn%20to%20Epona.mp3

I liked it enough to Vote for it, and I think that this song should be included into RadioDruid's Playlist.

I guess that there is no problem with the Copyright Laws as RadioDruid just played the Beatles tune: "All These Friends and Lovers".

not in Canada....internet radio falls under "fair use" as long as it is non-commercial/hobby. Of course, I will remove it if Michael Jackson, the songs owner, e-mails me.

I was writing down my initiation ceremony for the bardic grade that I will do tomorrow morning and while I was writing RadioDruid played this long and slow song which calmed me down. It was great to hear and it made the work easier!
Thank you!

Wa! Damedene Desu! :???:

Radio Druid has been disabled for some reason! Kanashii Desu!

When you turn in RadioDruid, some Male Voice (possibly Ambarii-San) states that all Music and Recitals of interest to Druids should be submitted to DJ@radiodruid.org then the station cuts out.

How long is RadioDruid going to be down??? I guess it is down while Ambarii-San is rearranging the Playlist.
