Back up and running!

Wonderful holiday...picked up a couple of good down-home celtic CDs and managed to capture a bit of a "milling frolic" (gaelic singing) on tape and will get the new stuff up ASAP...

Hope everyone is having a great summer!

RadioDruid is playing a New Song by Potia-San who Won the 2005 Beltaine Eisteddfod Competition. The Song is called "Earth, Sky, and Sea".

That song already has my Vote Locked Up for the 2005 Samhain Eisteddfod Competition.

Potia-San is now singing a song called "Track 04", and the Lyrics go "Happiness is Something I give to You".

It is a delightfully Song.

I hope she enters that in a Future Eiesteddfod!

She is a very Talented Musical Artist. Keep Playing Potia-San!

Does anyone from Australia have any hints on how to pick up Radio Druid? Sydney to be more direct! I keep getting the server unavailable notice. Also Ambariius, may i send you a cd from Australia? My band is called Wild Honey, it would be great to get some feedback.

The server may have been down last night...my kid is beta-testing a computer game on-line and he turns off the station, despite the warnings and threats of sever beatings (I joke! I joke!) He is going to his mom's this w/e and then back to school, so he shouldn't be unsupervised at my computer again until the xmas break....sigh....the kid plays this stupid game from when he rolls out of bed at noon until 3 in the morning...what ever happened to playing outside??

But yes! I would love your CD....I will put it on heavy rotation....every OBOD CD gets full play and I get to kick off a few more commercial artists to make room. PM me and I will send you my address. I am supposed to write a couple of reviews...I have several really good CDS from other OBODies and I have promised feedback, but I have been very bad and lazy. I promise to sit down and write them all up soon...promise....

Hi folks,

Many thanks to Ki No Ronin for his remarks on my singing. I'm glad you like it :)

Ambariius, if you get round to doing reviews I'd love to get one - especially if I can use it to sell a few more.

Blessings
Potia.

Are you going to enter another Song into the Samhain Eisteddfod Competition???!!!

I have heard on RadioDruid several different Songs that you Sing, and in my opinion, any one of them could make you a Eisteddfod Repeat Winner.

Un autre radio de druide!

I was just looking on shoutcast and saw there is another druid-oriented internet radio station, this one in French....

http://odan.demeure-alanon.net/radio.htm

La radio de l'ODAN diffuse des musiques relaxantes libres de droits. Elle va bientot diffuser également des émissions enregistrées par les membres de l'Ordre.

Potia, I love your CD and I promise that within the next couple of weeks or so, I will write a review, plus reviews for a couple of other CDs I have...maybe I will wait for Daisyowls Cd.

I just heared a song and the little WIN AMP window on my screes said that it was Nightwish. But as a huge Nithwish fan I can tell you that that wasn't Nightwish sining that....What went wrong there? I love to search for full CDs when I like a song but I can't when the song-information showing isn't right...

Mey, I just looked back at the playlist, and I thin the Song you heard was "Wish You Were Here" by Blackmore's Night.

I have sent a sternly-worded e-mail to the Vice President of MP3 labelling and hopefully this will not happen again.

Thanks for letting me know!

My first few attempts to tune in failed so I gave up.

But, I just tried again and it was up and running so I've now saved it as a favourite playlist and am looking forward to being a regular listener. :D
