Everyone's got some pretty wicked taste in music!

here's my top more-than-ten in no particular order

Ani Difranco
Tori Amos
Loreena McKennit
Bad Religion
Strung Out
Dead Kennedys
Jack Johnson
Dropkick Murphys
Massive Attack
Morcheeba

I like a lot of mainstream hip hop too, Like Cierra and Black Eyed Peas, because I love to go out dancing. I love Nine Inch Nails, I love country (used to live in Alberta and drive a pick up truck). I'm a total punk and love stuff like Pantera, but the next minute I'll be listening to Jill Scott or Sarah McLaughlin (she's from my hometown!).So yeah... I like everything.

My favorite band, from here in the Pacific Northwest: Gaia Consort. They have a .com website. Love their album "Evolve." Anyone else like Wyrd Sisters? And my hero is Leo Kottke. (OK, ok, after Spiderman.) Otherwise, My preferences range in an ecclectic mix from classical to folk to jazz to new age to rock. I have been listening to a lot of celtic music lately.

My music tastes are quite varied...including ethnic music, such as Andes, Berber, Celtic, Egyptian(Belly Dancing), Gypsy, Native American, etc. I love gothic and metal too. I guess if i had to pick my top ten they would be:

Black Sabbath/Ozzy (rock)
Cusco (contemporary Andes-style music)
Danny Elfman (band Oingo Boingo, solo stuff is eclectic)
Desert Wind (goddess music, middle eastern style)
Emerson, Lake, & Palmer (rock)
Enya (Celtic)
Genesis/Steve Hackett (progressive rock)
Huayucaltia (contemporary & traditional Andes music)
Jan Hammer (Miami Vice theme and lots more)
Led Zeppelin (rock)

Oooh, that was so hard to only pick 10! OK 2 more:
Pink Floyd (rock)
This Burning Effigy (gothic)

Peace and Blessings,

Then all the fowls stay silent
And the leaves end their fall
Suddenly I realise
The earth is breathing with me and I cry...
she is now my beloved bride
