Hi all,
I don't think I've shared pictures with you of my latest addition to the family, named Berlioz.
I found him, or actually he found me, at the pet shelter where I was doing my internship, and I just had to fall in love with him. There he was mostly lying on a shelf, hissing at everyone who came nearby, untill I started him on bach flower remedies (star and rescue), after which he let some people, especcialy me, pet him. Which he thoroughly enjoyed, although he was still a very scared kitty... Now you'd hardly recognize him, a little, funny, adorable, enthousiastic playfull cat, who however does had the tendency to hide underneath the bed when we have visitors, lol.

Because I don't want my other cats to get jealous, here a picture of both of them, firstly Simba the cat who lead me onto the pagan path:

And, the same photo which is at the moment my avatar, but that might change so I'll still post it, my beautiful queen, goddess and best friend Poekie

Hee hee, I like this thread. Everyone has such cute pets. :)

Here's my "pony" Dino. He's the love of my life. I've had him for almost seven years and hope to keep him till he keels over. He's my best friend for sure. :) He's twenty, but he sure doesn't look it... or act like it. He's rather the brat.

see, he really likes jumping.. he even practices by himself:

And my adorable kitty, Safari, who's half mane coon.

I also have a four year old brittany spaniel who sleeps with me every night, but he moves around too much to snap a shot. :D

My retired racing Greyhound, Merlin.
Image

Bright dogs, but terribly goofy. :)

Also, they're 'inside' dogs - centuries of breeding have made them dependant on humans (at least, the racers are). He loves nothing more than to run, and then sleep. Image

Thanks to his training, he also has a tendency to chase any but 'his own' cats, Poppy and Shadowcat:

Thanks all, I'm also amazed what amazing cats have chosen to share their lives with me...
Nice pictures everyone, very cute to see Dino practice jumping all by himself, grin, and Safari is extremely cute!!

And of course, nothing more cuter than two cats lying snug together, grin

Oh, I just had to...

Postby Graidh » 03 Aug 2006, 03:57

Everyone has such beautiful babies!

I've been meaning to put some up of mine, so here goes...

This is Thunder, my slightly insane cat. She was a foundling, and quite feral when I brought her home. She's calmed down a little in the past 5 years. ;)

Image

Now this big fellow is Storm, the old man of the house. He will be 14 this October. This is his usual spot, on a pile of clothes. I promise he did not eat a basketball... he's just round.

Image

Next up is one of my little ones. They are over two years old, but they never grew past the half kitten stage. Niki is the clown of the family, as you can see from this photo. Her twin is much more reserved.

Image

This is Dasha, the little empress of the household. She has become my familiar with the passing on of my 14 years long companion, Cloud. Dasha and Niki came along less than 2 months after the tragedy. It's amazing how those things happen.

Image

And finally, I think this may be one of my favorite photos ever. I wish I could spend more time this way.

Image

I hope you all enjoy these!

aww, all of our cats are so adorable!

I don't know about you, but it seems to me that it would be a great life being a pet- sleep, eat, get petted, sleep, play some, sleep, eat some more... haha. Not a bad life at all. :D

My one cat (who was not pictured) is very demanding- he mews (loudly) when he wants fed, goes out when he wants, comes in when its hot, even receives a bite of turkey whenever he asks and even demands you to rub his belly, or, not when you are rubbing it and he suddenly decides thats enough and claws into you. Haha. But all in all he's got a very good life, very very spoiled. No fair.
