What did you learn today...?¿

Postby ita » 29 Aug 2006, 16:38

Hails to all

What did you learn today worth sharing..?¿? :where:

I truely nailed the devils tail... Cleaning up the skeletons in my closet...

The situations in my life seemes to be multy-dimentional just like me and my Tarot...
There are many levels of understanding of each problem, all depending on where you are in your spiritual growth.
The deeper you dig,the more advanced and abstract are the explanations, spiritualy ,symbolic,ect...
But the truth they comunicate,is very same...

So why do I always aproach my problems from the hardest and most complicated ancle, expecting them to be the Most Complicated thing ever...
They will be when I invoke it that way..:S
I need to learn to see the simple side first instead of freaking out...

It is obious that I can`t see the simplisity when I`m trying to see the advanced... Doohh :o

I think this one is one we all have to learn...;)

Do you have one like this, that should be obious..?¿?

It will be fun to look back at...
Magic is comparable to the great sun of the ages, wich ever shines bright in the infinite sky.
It is not the fault of the sun if we cannot see it,it is due to own lack of vision...

Today, my weekly day off, I was early for a Shiatsu appointment.  The Shiatsu practitioner lives in a very quiet, shady area of the city with which I'm unfamiliar.  I looked at my watch and saw that I was 15 min. early, so I just sat on some steps, under the shade of a big tree, and I just took a deep breath, relaxed and looked at the houses across the pople, cats walking around, people walking by.  To answer your question, ita, by sitting there doing nothing under a tree, I learned that I ought to try doing nothing more often!  And I mean nothing:  no work, no TV, no internet, no phone conversation, no shopping, no reading:  NOTHING.  Because, sitting there doing nothing, I felt more peace than I'd felt in **years.**

That's what I learned today!

Good topic.

Dear Ita,
once I heard somebody say: "If we stop thinking about the 'things' we will be able to see them as they really are."
(To me, I'd need to remember that more often... )

I had a lesson yesterday, that might match yours in some way. I had a crazy day, I wasn't able to concentrate on anything and I went on my son's and lifemate's nerves the whole morning. I felt as if I wasn't able to come back to earth, as if I was flying somewhere around without the ability to plan the flight. -
When they went out of the house I did the only thing that seemed to be sensefull to me: I started praying, I burned incense, I came back to earth..
After a while I felt much better and even strong enough to to my daily housework in a good mood.    But if you think that was all, then let me tell you, your'e wrong. *LOL*!!!  :D Believe me, dropping a flowerpot while wishing those cobwebs away was only one thing that happened to me after "calming down",   . I made more dirt than I cleaned up and even today I had enough work of what I "produced" yesterday. *grin* But I mentioned the lesson I became with this, a lesson of patience and acception and respect.
Maybe the consciousness of accepting a lesson conscious and in respect is what might be worth sharing.

Blessings

This is a lovely idea for a thread!

Today I learnt that no matter how much you hope people might grow, some folk just don't want to.

Love this idea!

Today I learned that my path may not be where I intended it to go, but where it intended me to go.

And truly awesome because of just that, Kernos...

I was reminded today of a previous lesson: "A god isn't something you bow down to - a god is something you stand with"

Hails to all

I`m glad for your posetive responds...  I think it`s a good way to share  wisdom and learning process...

I`m learning to forgive and let go of the past in theese days,it is very hard but very librerating...

Also I`m learning to do what I want instead of just dreaming about it...

I already have a new one...

I have learned that the weakness of a too "free" society is caos...

You think it would be nice to live in a place with no-one controling what you do or do-not.
But heve had to face that not all your neighbours porcesses the same level of conciousness...
And that is where law and order steps in... Not that it`s always just...

But you are in less danger...  Riding a bike to the city here in Bolivia is a hardcore skill... And the city is a mess...
I have helped my Reiki master as a postwoman, but the numbers goes up and down, and jump over 20 from house to house...

So eventhough I thought my contry was too controlled,I now see why...

I have learned the price of lying to myself obout the true reality,in an attemt to escape pain, isn`t paying anyway...

You just end up in more pain, than if you stayed at fought back

If you try to hide your-self,from your-self by repressing the things you fear you might find, you`ll never know who really you are,but live in a home made illussion all your earthly life...

And that is far from the resapy for happyness...
