Hmmm what have I learned today ? I've learned and am continueing to try and learn and to accept that there are days when I need friends around me to help me do the little things I can't seem to do for myself anymore . By accepting the help I am free to study magick take care of me and send my healing gift over the internet to those in need online . I have a very very weak heart and fibromyalgia so most days I can't do much more than sit and read or use my computer ... But I'm learning every day that i can be useful to others by responding to posts and requests for prayers ...

Yesterday I learnt:
- That no matter what I read in the news there are still good people around
- That there are many issues around the world which are unjust and unfair
- That my sense of right and wrong (and the lines between those) may well be different to others.
"Don't look to the end of the rainbow for the pot of gold; it's already under your feet" Enjoy this life. It would be a shame if we looked forward to the next, only to find we forgot the one before.
I learned that my gift of befriending any animal wild or pet really has no limits . A neighbors donkey named Perl got loose and ended up at my house ! Nobody else would lift a finger to help . I went out and rubbed her chin and told her to stick near my place while I found her humans . Turned out they had been called and were on their way home . So I and a friend walked over to the post office where some kids were busy trying to did up hunks of weeds to feed her . When Betty the owner got there Perl got all stuborn and refused to allow her to put the halter on . Well there's going to be talk about the Chloride witch in town :-) :-) :-) because all I had to do was wrap my arm around her and she stood still for the halter

e.g. Means exempli gratia, which is for example in Latin. I definitely never decided to look it up despite hearing it every day for the past several years.
To the mind that is Still -- The whole Universe Surrenders.
Today I learnt that there is sunshine every day... it's just sometimes you need to look a little harder to see it.

Today I learned that there is meaning in everything, and sometimes I just have to look for it.

not really learned today, but last week, I don't have to give myself completely to love people and be there for them
"But we were dragons. We were supposed to be cruel, cunning, heartless, and terrible. But this much I can tell you ape, we never burned and tortured and ripped one another apart and called it morality." - Terry Pratchett, Guards! Guards!
Yesterday I learnt that my Kale (cabbage plant, sometimes used to make walking sticks) is actually hollow!
My initial disappointment that is had grew quite weedily (and had taken the width of a "Charlie Chaplin" stick) changed to happiness when I realised it was the perfect material for handles for my dowsing rods
Today I learned that my cat may be, probably is, smarter than me.
I hid his pouch of 'nummies' (cat treats, that is) in a heavy wooden drawer while he was outside. When he came in a while later, he not only figured out which drawer they were in, but with diligent effort, managed to open the drawer and get them out! Talk about determination! (Of course, he got a good petting and a handful of his treats for all that work!) Guess I'm gonna have to buy a lock box to put them in if I want them to last more than a day! LOL
I also learned that I'm ready to go forth and conquer! I just enrolled in the bardic course and couldn't be happier! I'll be watching my mailbox with happy anticipation now!
