I wish we could persuade everyone to sign up to this map - the OBOD page...

It would be marvellous for anyone wanting a Seedgroup or local contacts

The problem with Frapper is that the Shockwave program that runs the mapping system is unsuitable for dialup. I gave up after a half hour of downloading.

The code does work with phpBB, however.

If we were to include it here or elsewhere on the website, the owner of the map would need to be a technical administrator.

I added the map to OBOD general discussion.

This will be for OBOD members only.

Gedio - can you make this map private?

I cant seem to figure this out, it looks like pins overlap, so that if there is more than one person in any given location, you can only see the person who added themself most recently.  is there some way around this?

Have you tried zooming right in to the exact street?  You should be able to get people actually 'next door' to each other.  It doesn't have to be that exact... I'm placed as being in the next street which is fine by me.

There are some help sheets with it but I can't quite remember how to get there for the moment.  It's ages since I put my pin on there.

Hi Guardian,
I noticed that when I entered my city and province it put me somewhere strange - still in the vicinity but nowhere near home. Then I saw some of US members put their zip code and the light bulb went off: Type in your city, (state/province), country and zip code/postal code and it should pin you down pretty close to home.

Hope it helps :D

I edited my photo and saved it, but it doesn't appear to show a pic.  Any suggestions?
