To Cosette "Cosy"....

You may be with me now, but I can see you getting older, and it will not be long before you are gone. Thank you for the many wonderful years as a pet, friend, companion, and teacher.

Yes, she is getting older and more sick every day. If you pray, pray for me that I will accept the loss gently. If you send energy, please send me good vibes. Thank you all.

Thank you all, dear friends, for your kind thoughts and lit candles

I will be saying goodbye to my dear Cosy the next few days, as my parents have decided to put her to sleep this weekend.

I know it sounds silly, but I am litterally a mess of tears and sobs right now...knowing that these are my last few moments with her, and then it will be goodbye forever (untill the summerlands).

Hehe...all this from a 19 year old boy...silly, eh?

Peace be with you.  I still shed tears when I think of one of my old cats Tiggy, although he lived to the ripe old age of 19.  I kept some of his fur in memory.

It's not silly, Buidhe, it's normal...you love her and she loves you and you'll miss her terribly. So cry as much as you need to, but have faith you'll be together again. And perhaps before the Summerlands...the ones we're closest to often seem to find their way back to us...
