IMO, a brilliant book by Amber Wolfe.

It's subtitle is: "Celtic Faerie Craft & Elemental Magic", which is exaclty what it's about.
Granted, it's a big claim pertaining ANYTHING to be CELTIC, but the way I read this book, I'd say it's pretty close to what we know of what IS Celtic.

The book gives a good description ( even for beginners, although some knowledge does make for an easier read... ) about WHAT Elemental Magic IS, aswell as the beings, Fae and/or Gods related to those Elements.

It also has a chapter relating Elemental Magic to Druidry, which was pretty enlighting to me.

Each Element is specifically covered in a Chapter. These Chapters tell you in detail which deities can be linked to the Elements. Amber Wolfe also provides an example of a meditation in order to get in touch with the Elements, aswell as how to honour th Element. The writer does stipulate (and gives examples of HOW ) this is her OWN way of doing things, but I guess that anyone with different experiences is able to adapt his own methods into the ceremonies described. For new-comers, the way Amber Wolfe goes about her ceremonies, does provide very usefull foot-holds.
I found the Personal Journey Accounts described by Amber Wolfe to be very beautyfull, although I allready realise my own experiences would (and have) definitely be(en) different, but that's only logical I guess.

The final chapters are about Crafting the gained knowledge about the elements in gaining a connection to Celtic Lore, both of Old and the new we are creating ourselves.
She also goes into the use of several Runes, which can also be linked to the Elements ( not the FUTHARK-runes though ) and my personal favourite is the Chapter regarding the Dragons of Tara, in which Elemental Dragons and a bit of Dragon-Lore are described. For anyone wanting to Dance with the Dragons, I'd say this is a MUST. It's very much along the lines of Dragon Craft as provided by our own Merlyn.
The final chapter goes into the Wyrd or Laws of the Craft, which is always a good thing to read, especially for new-comers, in order to learn how to use and not abuse the knowledge just gained.

I found it a very all-together, but still understandable, book to read and I'd recommend it to anyone interested in Elemental Magic!

I don't know if the rules prohibit providing the details of how to BUY the book, but if so, I'm sure a mod will remove them...  :grin:
