Friend or Foe?

Postby Twyrch » 05 Sep 2007, 02:22

I love the new Friend or Foe feature in the forum. :applause:

Is there any way we could get a nifty little button at the bottom near [Profile] [PM] to add a person as a friend or foe? It's not a big deal, I suppose, but it is a bit of a pain to click on the person's profile link and then click FRIEND when you have a lot of people you want to add.

I don't think there are any mods for that type of addition yet. However, you can add people in bulk via your User Control Panel (if you can't remember all their names you can search for them).

What do we use the Friend or Foe feature for? Besides alliteration.

"It takes courage to live ordinary lives." -- Connie Schultz (newspaper columnist)

From the FAQ:
"What are my Friends and Foes lists?
You can use these lists to organise other members of the board. Members added to your friends list will be listed within your User Control Panel for quick access to see their online status and to send them private messages. Subject to template support, posts from these users may also be highlighted. If you add a user to your foes list, any posts they make will be hidden by default."

Wow! Imagine that. Just clicking a button to silence all those who we don't like. Life would be no fun at all.

If only the Foe button worked in real life! So much noise I could ignore by the handy click of a mouse...
