Problem With Staying Logged In

I am really mad because well I keep getting blasted unlogged from my user profile and well want to kill the computer. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem or is just me. I really would like some advice here. am using a school computer so we will see about the library. I don't know but I am really peeved

Yep, I have that problem occassionally, but it's been more infrequent since the updated forum took effect.

I used to notice it after a server outage from spambot attacks, so that could be what's causing it, but I don't know.

EDIT: This has been on my home pc and my work pc... I'm also in charge of our firewall and I made sure this site was open with no restrictions. |-)

It is not uncommon for schools or businesses to have firewalls that don't allow people to remain logged in for an extended period of time. I had that problem with my last employer's system. I would look at the Board at lunch which was allowed. But it would log me out after a very short time.
