Meet Hondje (Dutch for Doggy), our lovely cat!

Normally he can't get out of our backyard but yesterday he did. So I gave the little fellow a collar with a nametag so that people can return him to us when he gets lost. Our neighbourhood has a lot of cats and Hondje hates other cats.
And today he got the jackpot!

He ended up in the backyard two houses down the block and couldn't get out anymore. And the people who live there have two cats! We had cats screaming for 1,5 hours this afternoon. I was home alone with Aerin and unable to get Hondje back on my own.
When the neighbours got home they heared the cats in the backyard and scarred the hell out of Hondje who rushed over the wall, through our neighbours yard, over another wall, into our house, onto the cold tilefloor in our livingroom where he layed down to catch his breath.
I felt soooo sorry for the poor thing! He learned his lesson the hard way and I hope he will stick to watching the neighbours birds from now on.

He does everything that a dog does exept barking and lifting a legg while peeing. When you throw away his toy mouse he gets it for you and brings it back. He drewls when he gets a tiny piece of cheese. He chews on my shoes. He likes ripping the newspaper to pieces.
So Hondje it was!
