What kind of scanner do you have? (Brand name... Model number... It should say on the front of your scanner somewhere, like HP Scanjet 5100 or something like that)

Normally, when you scan an image, it shows up in a window on your screen, right? Once that happens, you have to save that image as a file. To do this in most programs, you choose FILE - SAVE AS.

Another window will pop up giving a location, typically this location will say MY DOCUMENTS or MY PICTURES. Your MY DOCUMENTS is a folder on your desktop and the MY PICTURES is located in that folder.

Once you determine where you are saving the file, give it a descriptive name that you'll remember like, [Twig on the porch 2007] or something along those lines. Once it's saved, you can upload the picture to the forum, or one of the photo websites we've mentioned before like Photobucket or Imageshack.

Hopefully, this helps, but if you get stuck, just let me know where you're stuck and I'll try to help. If we have to, I'll have to do phone tech support sometime.
